Description of Dzhemete

Small resort village Dzhemete , located just 5 kilometers from the famous Russian resort of Anapa, provides excellent opportunities for a relaxing and comfortable stay. At the same time, you can enjoy all the benefits of a large resort, avoiding the hustle and bustle of the streets, crowds of people on the beach, the noise of large highways, and air pollution.

The word "djemete" translated from the Adyghe language means - "golden sands". And it is not for nothing that the village is called that way, because here are some of the cleanest and most comfortable sandy beaches in Anapa. The smooth, gentle coastline and warm sea water make this place very attractive for families with children. Dzhemete beach is one of the best on the Black Sea coast of Russia.

Essentially Dzhemete is a suburb of Anapa, so getting here will not be a problem. You can come to Anapa by plane, train or bus, and further along the route "Anapa Dzhemete" shuttle buses No. 4,8 and 14 run constantly. In just ten minutes you will be at your place!

Dzhemete boasts not only a wonderful beach, but also balneological factors such as therapeutic mud of rare composition, healing mineral waters and a favorable climate, which combines dry steppe winds with gentle sea breezes. Therefore, in Dzhemet you will find more than one sanatorium and boarding house with a medical focus. Among the Dzhemete sanatoriums, the Kristall and Rodnik sanatoriums should be mentioned. And the most famous boarding houses of the village are "Feya1", "Feya2" and "Dzhemete", which can be recommended for families with children. There are children's playgrounds, sports facilities, private pools. Children's health camp "Yubileiny" accepts children of school age.

In addition to sanatoriums, boarding houses and children's health camps in Dzhemete there are many hotels, private hotels and recreation centers. The private sector of Dzhemete also provides many opportunities to rent an inexpensive, but quite comfortable room or apartment with all the amenities. When choosing a hotel or mini-hotel, give preference to those with a small number of rooms. Usually such a mini-hotel with 10-20 rooms provides much more comfort and order than large hotels. Reviews of accommodation in the village can be viewed on sites dedicated to rest in Anapa and Dzhemete - on the official sites of hotels and hotels. There is also a resort map (and more than one) that will help you decide in advance on the most preferred place to stay. True, Dzhemete is located almost on the coast, so it is only a couple of minutes walk from any house to the sea.

Whatever name is given to this small and beautiful village! Visitors call him Jamite or Jimite, they arbitrarily transfer stress. However, it is correct to say - Dzhemete with a stressed vowel in the last syllable.

From time immemorial to the present day

Scientists believe that this word came from the dialect of the indigenous inhabitants - the Adyghe who once inhabited these southern places. It translates as "gold placer" or "gold-bearing sand".

According to another version, the historical name of the settlement is associated with the common Adyghe or Circassian surname. Indeed, documents were found in the archives with a description of the "Dzhemetievs' neighborhood", which was mentioned in old toponymic reference books.

At the beginning of the nineteenth century, the troops of the Russian Empire who came to the valley erected a military fortification called the Dzhemetinsky post. His task was to protect the coast and protect the approaches to Anapa. This is the third variant of the origin of the name of the village.

There is also a fourth. In the eighties of the century before last, Dmitry Vasilyevich Pilenko ruled the Black Sea District. The renowned general of the Russian army acquired several hectares of land and began to cultivate magnificent vineyards on the fertile local soils, which were later nationalized by the Bolsheviks and transformed into the Dzhemete wine-making state farm.

Scientists argue, tourists enjoy

Disputes in the scientific world continue, supported by documents newly found in dusty archives or archaeological excavations. But modern travelers like the connection of the name with the noble metal more. The precious sand of the cozy beaches sparkling in the sun attracts many tourists - Russian and foreign - to the resort. By the way, we can add that not only the local beaches are sandy, but also the gently sloping seabed.

We are all looking forward to our vacation. And as soon as the cherished hour comes, we try as soon as possible to find a city in which our vacation would be a success. Sooner or later, we focus on the small village of Dzhemete, which is located in the Krasnodar Territory. In fact, there are two villages: Upper and Lower Dzhemete, although most tourists do not attach any importance to this at all. A railway station was built in this area; today, a well-developed hotel and transport infrastructure can be noted. A particularly attractive place in this area is the cleanest sandy beach.

The beach is located on the territory of the private sector on Pionersky Prospekt, which is very convenient, since tourists who have settled in the houses, leaving them, immediately get to the beach. It is wide enough, about 140 m, and is also distinguished by its sandy dunes, clear water, warm fine sand. There are no stones at all at the bottom of the sea, the depth is gradual, there are no abrupt transitions, so tourists do not have to worry about their safety.

In addition to the houses, tourists can rent a room at a local hotel, where they will also have special amenities and comfortable accommodation.

Despite the fact that the village is not too large in size, the hotels in it are quite diverse. There are hotels that are located very close to the sea and the active life of the city, they are happy to welcome tourists at any time.

But if you prefer a more peaceful, quiet holiday by the sea, then it is best for you to settle in a guest house with all the amenities.

In this city, you can not only have a great rest, sunbathe, swim in the clear sea, but also improve your health, because there is an amazing healing air, there are many places that will help you feel much better.

The average water temperature in summer reaches +24, +25 degrees. This resort is the sunniest in the entire Kuban.

Of course, you can improve your health in various boarding houses, which are located on the territory of the village. There specialists will be able to carry out a lot of preventive procedures for tourists. The most natural medicine for them will be sea water, various therapeutic muds, as well as sulfide and hydrogen sulfide mineral waters. Air and sun baths have an excellent effect on the state of the whole organism.

The village boasts excellent transport links. The airport, as well as the railway station, is located in Anapa. In fact, it can be argued that Dzhemete is a suburb of Anapa, these two areas are closely connected by bus routes. A bus from one point to another can be reached within 15 minutes. But as for the distance from Krasnodar to Dzhemete, it is 170 km.

Tourists who have visited this resort can safely say that it is famous not only for its famous beaches, but also for its well-developed infrastructure and excellent service. On the beach, tourists can get umbrellas and sun loungers, there is a catamaran rental, you can rent a jet ski, diving equipment. If you are a lover of extreme sensations, then you can take an airplane or parachute flight.

As we can see, rest in Dzhemet can be the most exciting, useful and fun. You can come here with the whole family or large and noisy companies.

Not far from Anapa, just ten kilometers away, there is the resort area of Dzhemete. The beaches of this village are famous not only for the entire Krasnodar Territory, but also for the whole country. They are sandy, like desert dunes. The water is clean and clear. Dzhemet has a special climate, the air rich in salt is considered to be healing. The very name of the village comes from the Adyghe phrase "gold placers". Indeed, some microns of gold in the sand come across, but the real jewel of the resort is its health effects - the sea and the climate.

How to get here

In recent years, the village of Dzhemete became part of Anapa. Therefore, it is not difficult to get there. If you arrived at that already from six in the morning there are minibuses No. 114. They leave often, literally every five to ten minutes. You pay 20 rubles, and in fifteen minutes Dzhemete is waiting for you. Beaches, relaxation and comfortable rest can be considered in your pocket.

But often the trains do not stop in Anapa, but at the Tunnelnaya station. From there you can get to the city by a regular bus, and then change to the next minibus in Dzhemete. From the airport to Dzhemete there is a route taxi number 113. The village itself is a good transport hub. Transport is constantly running through it, and if you want to go to Anapa to see some sights or try other beaches, it will be very simple.

Anapa, Dzhemete beach

This resort is new, it began to develop about ten years ago. But already in this short time, it was built up with guest houses, boarding houses, mini-hotels, where the main modern standards for recreation were observed. The coast is well equipped - there are water attractions, many inexpensive cafes. Dzhemete beaches are a ten-kilometer sandy area. They are very wide (up to 150 meters), clean and not as crowded as in Anapa. The coast is interesting because it is all covered with sand dunes resembling dunes. They are so high (almost 15 m) that they close the rest from the wind and fence off the living area from the water.

The dunes are covered with wild olives. The sand is drier here than in Anapa, and therefore softer and warmer. And the descent into the sea is very gentle. So if you come with small children, then this is ideal for them. The most popular beach is Central. It is located near Pionersky Prospekt, which stretches from Anapa to Vityazevo itself. It is comfortable - with sun loungers, sun loungers, umbrellas, showers. There is also a first-aid post and lifeguards.

Beaches of hotels and boarding houses

Many tourists prefer the coast, parts of which belong to Dzhemete guest houses and sanatoriums. The beaches here are small and much cleaner than those in the center. Good coast near the guest houses "Priobye", as well as "Sea horse". The white beach near the Tiki-Tak water park is considered the most beautiful. It is perfectly equipped, and you will not be bored without water activities. And the sand here is really snow-white - quartz, river and fine.

Such beaches are good for family people, especially with children. Not only safe bathing, but also the air saturated with silver ions heals the child. After storms, real lagoons form on local beaches, the water in which heats up to a state of hot. Children splash here with special pleasure. In addition, Dzhemete is located not in a bay, but in the open sea. This also plays a role in the purity of the water.

Wild beaches

If you prefer not a hotel or the private sector, but your own tent, then this is the place for you. After all, there are many wild beaches, where there are no games, attractions and infrastructure. There you can retire and find peace. No wonder these places are so loved by nudists who often come to Dzhemete. The beach, the photo of which illustrates this article, as already mentioned, consists of dunes that fence off tourists from each other and, thus, only contribute to seclusion. This gives the surrounding nature an exotic touch. The coast that is most remote from civilization and close to nature is not far from Here you can get there on foot by sea or by boat.

Dzhemete beach: reviews of vacationers

Tourists most often prefer to rest in the village. Dzhemete, from their point of view, is much better than Anapa in terms of prices, housing, as well as the quality of the sea and the beach. The water is clearer here than in the city. The main thing is not to get to the resort during the blooming sea. But this mainly happens in the Central Beach area, and in more remote areas, the water carries away plankton in a couple of days.

Unlike Vityazevo, you don't need to get to the beach by going through countless shops. Almost all guest houses are located directly on the coastline. However, to the water itself, you need to overcome some distance along the dunes. Vacationers are also advised not to stop near the footbridges and piers with their towels and mats, but to move a few tens of meters away. The fact is that people from Anapa or other regions often come to Dzhemete by boat and, as a rule, occupy areas near their landing site. The atmosphere on the beaches, however, is calm and even kind of homey. Maybe that's why people prefer to come here.

Dzhemete is completely stretched along the coast, which is one of its main advantages in terms of choosing a place for settlement. Wherever you choose, it will be close to the sea, no more than 10 minutes walk, even from the most remote areas of Verkhny Dzhemete. The most popular are mini-hotels and guest houses located between Pionersky Prospekt and the coast. There are three large sanatoriums and two boarding houses in the village, but most prefer to come on vacation in Dzhemete in the private sector, prices for 2019 are quite democratic there. Judging by the reviews, the best level of service can be obtained in mini-hotels with 10-20 rooms. With high competition, every client is valued here.

How to get there

Dzhemete is located 5 km from Anapa. To the north along the coast, the village of Vityazevo begins. There is practically no border between the settlements, and one smoothly passes into the other. This part of the coast, from the beginning of the Anapa Bay to the Bugaz Spit, is considered the best for a beach holiday in this region. Getting to the village by public transport is very easy. This also contributes to its popularity among vacationers, especially those who travel to the resort with children. All that is needed is to take a train or air ticket to Anapa. As a matter of fact, the railway station of Anapa is located on the territory of the village. Transfer by minibus to the coast will take no more than 10 minutes. And the airport is located behind the village of Vityazevo. Regular buses leave from the station and the airport quite often.

general information

Dzhemete beach. Black sea. Anapa .. Marina Maryicheva / Photobank Lori

Today the village is a suburb of Anapa with a population of about 1000 people. It appeared in 1828 as a military fortification. It was the northernmost bastion of the Black Sea coast, which defended the road to Anapa from Taman from the raids of the Circassians. The name of the village comes from the Adyghe language, and means "golden sands". Sand dunes are indeed a distinctive feature of the local landscape. For those who come to rest in Dzhemete for the first time, it will not be difficult to understand the structure of the village. The neighborhoods were built up relatively recently, retail outlets, catering and other services are evenly distributed throughout the territory. The Novorossiysk highway divides the village into Lower and Upper. It is significantly removed from the coastal line, so that it does not have a significant impact on the environment.

What to do on vacation

Rest in Dzhemete, thanks to the proximity of Anapa, can be significantly diversified by visiting various attractions and entertainment centers. The village has its own water park "Tiki-tak" and a children's pool with sea water, open all year round. It is worth visiting the vicinity of Lake Chemburskoe, where deposits of sulphide volcano mud are concentrated, which are not inferior in their properties to the mud of the Dead Sea. And the fishing is pretty good here. Those who are interested in history can recommend the local museum of local lore, not far from which is the famous Anapa lighthouse. Also, having arrived in the center, you should definitely visit the Gorgippia Museum - the remains of an ancient city in the open air. Yes, and just ride on the dunes on ATVs will obviously be interesting for both adults and children.

The beaches

Dzhemete beaches stretch along the entire coast. All of them are sandy with an average width of about 100m. The sand is rather fine, of river origin. The coastal slope is gentle, there are no sinkholes and stones on it. The beaches are fenced off from residential areas with sand dunes up to 15m high, which not only protect from the steppe wind, but also add picturesque landscape. Thanks to the formation of gaps - a temporary depression washed out by the wave - many warm "paddling pools" for children can be found on the beaches. It is to the beaches of Dzhemete that vacationers from Anapa also tend to come, since they are considered cleaner, and the water is warmer.
